1. Introduction :-
This is a list of Usenet providers. Included are pay-access Usenet providers who sell accounts to individuals, free providers, a few web-based services, shell-account and satellite based providers. Those named in the Feed Services list are mainly for isp's or individuals who have their own news server and wish to accept or send news articles, sometimes known as peering. Do NOT assume inclusion means it is endorsed! You must examine and consider whether each provider meets your service requirements.

2. Internet Based:-
Airnews Owned by Internet America, a large Texas Internet service provider. Tiered pricing starts at $9.95/month for 150k access, with faster speeds and a cheaper no-binaries account available. Policy on adding newsgroups is strict, so make sure they carry what you want before you sign up.

Altopia Claim to fame is being "uncensored," meaning no cancels, no spam filtering, and no newsgroups removed no matter how bogus. Tiered pricing according to the download speed you want. Bilateral peering available through the Seattle Internet Exchange interconnection. Starts at $6/month for a no-binaries account, and $12/month for full access at 32k speed.

Deja.com Discussions Usenet search engine. Also offers access to Usenet via the Web.

Easynews Offers NNTP access as well as a web-based interface with pre-decoded files from binary groups. $9.98 for one month or 6 gigs of downloads, whichever comes first. Website includes interesting status reports about the service, including pictures of their equipment. Not to be confused with easynews.de, easynews.net, or EasyUsenet, none of which are related to this service.

Easynews.de This service is in Germany, and the website is in German. This is not the same as easynews.com, but, confusingly enough, is the same as easynews.net.9 DM per month.

EasyUsenet Offers both web-based and NNTP access to the news system at NNTPServer, http://www.nntpserver.com/ which does not sell its own individual accounts. You can also read news from other news servers on which you have accounts, using their web-based interface. $9.95/month.

Eskimo North Eskimo North sells remote-access shell accounts that also include NNTP access to their full-feed news server. Their shell services are among the more extensive still available these days, including email, webspace, ftp space, and mailing lists. $9/month.

Giganews Owned by TexasNet, a large Texas Internet service provider. Pricing is tiered according to download speed. Be careful; speed limits are quoted as double the actual limits on the basis that you are allowed to use two connections at once, doubling your download speed. Pricing starts at $12/month for "128k" access, meaning a 64k speed limit with two simultaneous connections allowed.

Mailgate Access to a small number of newsgroup hierarchies. Hosted in Italy. International emphasis.

Speed is currently throttled to 48 kilobytes per second (384k). Newscene's service is resold by Premium News, with web pages and pricing in German.

Newsfeeds Advertises uncensored access and anonymous posting ability. Has several different servers including "specialized" servers for such things as binaries, mp3s, etc. $9.95/month for basic access; $19.95/month for "premium" access including all the various specialized servers. Note that the same level of "anonymity" is offered by many of the other premium providers. No refunds for any reason. Users report a 1.2 gig per day download limit. You can get access to Newsfeeds cheaper through one of their resellers, but many of the resellers don't admit they are reselling Newsfeeds service.
